YEAR THREE THREAD
YEAR TWO THREAD

AK:
Season Two was tough on Benny's Spurs and Everton sides. While not as miserable as Man City and Pompey the previous year, my Villans and Hammers dangled the carrot with their mediocre stretch runs. Tough to whittle down the Original 10, but a necessary.. Torres followed up with a second golden boot(11) bringing his two season total to 25 goals. While he will headline the first HOF class before the Season 15, season 2 marked the emergence of Raul(10) and Rooney(10)... Real Madrid took the hardware, but since then have only managed to place as high as 4th place (three times).
YEAR ONE THREAD

AK:
This season for me will always be like the MLB after the turn of the century during the dead-ball era. Nobody really knew what to make of things, players and coaches packed on a bus, playing during the day, trying to figure out what worked. The records are fuzzy and outdated, but they count, and they endure. Season One is in the books, but we have no game-by-game stats because I deleted them, not knowing what this would become.
No EPL teams had an identity beyond that in our reality. We decided we would each only get one of the "Big Four". Liverpool for me, Man United for Benny. The rest went as a snake draft:
Benny: Man United, Portsmouth, Everton, Fulham and Tottenham
AK: Liverpool, Blackburn, Aston Villa, Man City, West Ham
The most indelible moment of this season was the final match of Week 10: Liverpool. Man U. As I type this, it's still fuzzy what happened. The Championship on the line, however I forget the terms. We didn't have even a decent understanding of plus/minus and there was a garbage time goal by... Riera? that was the eventual championship point. That didn't dawn on us until after the game because we didn't factor in the 2 point swing for each goal. I know I'm getting this all wrong though...
